About Pathway Leasing
Pathway Leasing LLC was founded in January 2012 through the asset purchase of Leasco, a subsidiary of ATBS. Our founder and president, Matt Harris, brought with him more than a decade of experience supporting small-business owners in the trucking industry, including six years as Vice President of Sales at ATBS.
From day one, Pathway has been dedicated to helping independent contractors and owner-operators succeed. We understand the challenges drivers face on the road, and we designed our leasing program to provide the tools, resources, and support they need to build profitable trucking businesses.
Our Approach
Pathway Leasing is built on four guiding principles:
-
Reliable, Fuel-Efficient Equipment
We offer fuel efficient trucks designed to maximize performance, fuel efficiency, and uptime for independent contractors. -
Strong Carrier Partnerships
We partner with trusted carriers who share our commitment to safety, reliability, and long-term driver success.
-
Value-Added Services Only
Our program includes only services that truly benefit drivers, such as preventative maintenance solutions and business support tools. -
Affordable Lease Structure
Each lease is structured so contractors can build equity and own an asset of real value upon completion.

Why Pathway Leasing
We’re more than just a truck leasing company, we’re a trusted partner for independent contractors who want to achieve truck ownership, financial stability, and long-term success in the transportation industry. At Pathway, we combine industry expertise, personalized support, and a customer-first approach to create opportunities that help small businesses thrive.
LEADERSHIP
Matt Harris brings a strong blend of leadership and industry experience to his role as President and Owner of Pathway Leasing. A proud Horned Frog, he earned his bachelor’s degree at Texas Christian University (TCU) and later completed his MBA in Marketing at Auburn University.
Matt entered the transportation industry in 2002 when he joined ATBS (American Truck Business Services). Over his 10-year career there, he held multiple leadership roles, including six years as Vice President of Sales. In January 2012, he completed an asset purchase of Leasco—a subsidiary of ATBS—and used it as the foundation to launch Pathway Leasing, LLC.
As founder and president, Matt has shaped Pathway into more than a leasing company. His vision, integrity, and approachable leadership style have fostered a culture that feels like family while staying laser-focused on helping independent contractors achieve financial independence through truck ownership.
Jim has been immersed in the mechanical side of the trucking industry since 1991. While attending college, he worked in the service department of a trucking company and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Automotive Engineering Technology.
His career led him from fleet maintenance in Minnesota to warranty administration at a Freightliner dealership in Colorado, before joining a tax and consulting firm that supported owner-operators. There, he provided maintenance consulting and contributed to its leasing division.
When Matt Harris founded Pathway Leasing in 2012, Jim became one of the company’s first hires. Today, as a Maintenance Consultant, he’s a trusted resource for independent contractors—offering expert guidance, troubleshooting support, and advocacy through the repair and warranty process.
Lenise is a natural go-getter who earned her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and Dietetics in just three years. She began her career at Children’s Hospital Colorado before pursuing a new path in transportation.
Drawn to Pathway’s people-first culture, Lenise joined the company in 2015 as a Document Administrator. Her talent and drive quickly propelled her into the role of Director of Account Services. Today, she manages legal documents, processes payments, coordinates seating, and supports the sales team—all while serving contractors through their journey to truck ownership.
Known for her dedication and personal touch, Lenise has built lasting relationships with many clients, often supporting them through multiple leases. Her commitment reflects the heart of Pathway: combining hustle with care to foster relationships and help drivers succeed.
Patrick has been passionate about engines and mechanics since childhood, spending weekends building cars with his family and racing at the track. That passion became a career path after completing technical training at Universal Technical Institute, where he specialized in automotive and diesel technology.
He went on to co-found a diesel repair business that grew from a single service truck into a respected shop serving a wide range of customers. After selling the business, Patrick joined Transwest Freightliner as Shop Foreman and later Service Manager, gaining expertise in leadership and advanced technologies such as electrical and emissions systems.
Patrick joined Pathway Leasing in 2017 as a Maintenance Consultant and now serves as Director of Vehicle Maintenance. He leverages his diverse background to deliver practical, hands-on solutions that help independent contractors keep their trucks on the road and running strong.
With more than 35 years in customer service and 20 years in accounting and operations, Patrice blends financial expertise with a people-first approach. Her ability to balance precision with personality makes her a vital link between Pathway’s clients and its back-office operations.
Clients appreciate not only her financial knowledge but also her warmth and humor—check-ins with Patrice are as enjoyable as they are productive. Her dedication ensures that Pathway’s daily operations run seamlessly, while her genuine care strengthens the relationships at the heart of the business.
Outside of work, Patrice enjoys time with family and friends, gardening, walking, and hiking with her dog, Lilly.
